Lurie College Learning Showcase

SJSU Lurie College of Education students, alumni, faculty, staff, partners, friends, and family are invited to attend the inaugural Learning Showcase! This event will highlight Lurie College undergraduate, graduate, credential, and doctoral students' academic accomplishments from the Fall 2019 semester while they're on their journeys to becoming transformative educators, counselors, therapists, school and community leaders. This event will also provide attendees with an understanding of how Lurie College is community engaged, interdisciplinary, culturally sustaining, and holistic.

LEARNING SHOWCASE OVERVIEW

4:00-5:30pm: Presentation panels from numerous academic departments

4:30-6:30pm: Poster presentations and other stations

6:30-8:00pm: Plenary session with presentations by students from each department

TRANSPORTATION

The SJSU campus map is available online and the Lurie College of Education is located in Sweeney Hall, which is indicated by the large blue dot in section D2 of the map. The nearest parking garages are the North Parking Garage and South Parking Garage. Visit the SJSU Parking website to learn more about visitor parking and virtual permits if you plan to park on campus on the day of the summit.

If you plan to travel to campus via an alternate form of transportation, you can visit the SJSU Associated Students' Regional Transit webpage and Direct Lines to SJSU webpage for more information and resources. Using Google Maps may identify your most efficient option.
